Throw away those measuring cups! Say hello to kitchen technology

Kitchen technology is something homeowners can easily and affordably build into their Charlotte kitchen remodeling projects.

Imagine how much easier your dinner prep would be if you could turn on your faucet and get the exact amount of water you need for a recipe? No balancing measuring cups, no struggling to read tiny lines or faded print on your measuring vessels – just exactly what you need, when you need it. Now you can, and this technology is something homeowners can easily and affordably build into their Charlotte kitchen remodeling projects.

American Standard designed its Beale MeasureFill pull-down kitchen faucet to deliver a set volume of water on demand. This flexible fixture allows homeowners to select an amount ― anywhere from a half cup to up to five cups ―and then simply pour exactly what they need. So you can easily see the amount you are selecting, a blue LED light illuminates the dial window and the volume marks when the measuring function is in use. The easy-to-grip selection dial ensures that you are selecting an accurate setting every time.

Because your hands may be messy when you are cooking, the faucet is quick and easy to operate. A simple touch of the hand or wrist on the dial window is all that’s required to operate the faucet.

The Beale MeasureFill also has some innovate safety features that make it ideal for families with young children or even those looking to age in place. The faucet automatically shuts off after five minutes, preventing accidental overflows. Plus, it offers a memory setting that allows the water to be turned off and then to be turned back on in any desired temperature setting. (Which means you’ll never have to worry about a child turning on a faucet and getting a blast of water that’s too hot.)

Best of all, the Beale MeasureFill doesn’t look like the utilitarian workhorse it really is. It features contemporary styling in a beautiful high-arc design that’s available in either stainless steel or polished chrome.

MSRP for the faucet ranges from $600 – $750, and it’s available is several variations. One option is plug-in version that’s fitted with an AC adapter for a seamless installation. Another version is powered by replaceable AAA batteries.

No matter which variation you choose, it’s certain to make life easier – whether you’re baking for the holidays or cooking for everyday.
